How does the Website Manager work? |
|
You are assigned a username and password that you will be able to change through your website manager. Once you have logged in, you will be able to provide introductory text and info, upload and manage the photos on your baby’s homepage and photo gallery. You may also upload audio and video files. You can add or delete photos and change the order of your photos and albums. You may also add photo album, audio and video titles, other descriptive text, and add/or edit captions. You will be able to directly update your baby’s fun facts page with new milestones and other baby news and announcements and make baby journal and link entries anytime. Our custom e-mail function allows you to send everyone on your e-mail list formatted e-mail with a photo of your baby. |

Is your Website Manager self-explanatory? |

Yes. In fact our Website Manager leaves nothing to guesswork. You will be able access an overview of the various page features and functions, by clicking on the "Welcome" button of your Website Manager. We also post important upgrades and tips on this page. |

How do I upload my photos? |
|
You can add your pictures, as often as you wish, through your Manager, once the photos have been loaded onto your computer. You will need a scanner, digital camera or Photo CD to load the photos onto your computer. Kinko’s offers photo scanning and
e-mails services for a nominal charge. Once the photos are on your computer as a JPEG file, it is only a matter of a couple of clicks to access them for uploading through the Website Manager. Copy and paste, drag and drop and/or search your hard drive to bulk upload your photos or use our standard upload software. |

Is there a limit on the number of photos that I can have on my website? |
|
All Premium subscribers are limited to 100MB of storage space, which is sufficient to post approximately 1,200 photos or a combination of photo, audio and video files. |

Can I have just one picture on my homepage instead of a slideshow? |

Yes. All you need to do is bullet the "static" presentation instead of the slideshow. |

As many as you wish. Your guests will be able to decide if they want to view the entire slideshow or stop it at any time to closely study and admire a certain photo. Visitors may resume the slideshow or choose to manually operate the selection of photos on your homepage. Each photo album may also be viewed as an interactive slideshow. |

You can post messages and announcements anytime, in the baby journal, guestbook, homepage, baby fact page and our links page. Visitors may communicate with you and with other visitors through the guestbook and our links pages. You can update facts, provide news, and/or make announcements on the baby fact page and by sending custom e-mail with your baby’s photo.

If the domain is available we will register it at no additional charge for you to use. |

How do I request a custom domain name? |

Just drop us an e-mail or call us to discuss the domain you would like. We can check availability in seconds. Select the domain babypie.com for your free trial or premium subscription. Once we receive your paid subscription we will register your requested domain. This process, including customization of your website headers to display your domain may take up to 48 hours. All files on your babypie.com site will be transferred to your customized site.

Dot com is the most prestigious, memorable and recognized domain extension in the world. As such, competition for dot com names is fierce. In cases where the dot com extension is not available for registration, we may be able to offer you the dot net extension. |
