Road Trip Toys

Beat the “Are we there yet?” blues: Our favourite travel toys

“Are we there yet?!!” It’s the phrase uttered by every kid on every road trip since the beginning of road trips, and it’s one that can drive parents to the brink of insanity. Top it off with some screaming, crying, sibling squabbles, spilled drinks and exhaustion and it’s a wonder that parents ever choose to hit the road. The reality is that, unpredictable kids or not, parents sometimes need (or want) to travel.

Fortunately, with the proper distraction, the journey can go much smoother. Taking the time to pack a few great travel toys will go a long way to saving everyone’s sanity and will make the ride seem much faster. If you’re planning a family trip in the near future take a look at our list of portable and fun travel toys. Trust us – you’ll be happy you did!
