Nicole Trunfio Breastfeeds On The Cover Of Elle Australia

A tribute to mothers on the runway? Model Nicole Trunfio breastfeds her son on Elle

Well here's something that's helping to cement Elle as one of the most relevent magazines out there: Elle Australia has featured Nicole Trunfio on the cover—breastfeeding her son, Zion Clark.

According to Elle's EIC Justine Cullen, it wasn't part of the plan.

"This wasn't a contrived situation," she explained. "Zion needed a feed, Nicole gave it to him, and when we saw how beautiful they looked, we simply moved her onto the set. It was a completely natural moment that resulted in a powerful picture."

Which is exactly how casual we should be treating breastfeeding. (You gotta feed your kid, you know?)

Understandably, Trunfio was taken with the final product.

"When I saw the [subscriber] cover of me breastfeeding, which was unplanned and just natural, I teared up and thought, 'Wow this is such a special moment where my worlds have collided."

Coolest. Although we wish Elle Australia had gone full tilt and make this more than just the subscriber cover. We'd love to see Trunfio feeding Zion on newstands all over the world!
