Spring Produce Has Sprung!

Spring produce is popping up in your favourite grocery stores and farmers' markets. Here are simple and delicious ways to highlight the season's best.

Spring is officially here! Although the season is incredibly unreliable when it comes to weather, we can all breath a collective sigh of relief knowing that the warmer weather has arrived. The seasonal produce that is at your local markets right now is vibrant, colourful and crisp. It's the time of year when a drizzle of olive oil, a splash of lemon juice and a sprinkle of sea salt is all you need to bring out spring's delicious flavours. Kids love spring as it is a time to peel off those layers and get outdoors again. It is also a great time to teach your kids about the fresh veggies and fruit that spring is famous for—such as asparagus, green peas, rhubarb and nectarines—as well as to cook together as a family. Here is our round-up of spring's best fruits and veggies and the simple ways that you can prepare these amazing foods.
