2015 Kid-Friendly Films We’re Getting Excited About

There’s nothing better than a film you can enjoy with the kids, here’s what you have to look forward to this year

We all know what you really want to find out: which 2015 kids’ film is going to be the next Frozen?

While we can’t give you a definitive answer to that question, we can offer you up our pics for the best kids’ movies that are coming out this year.

Paddington

Coming out on January 16th, Paddington follows the misadventures of a young bear who finds himself lost and alone in London’s Paddington station. But when he meets the Brown family, his luck starts to change. That is until a museum taxidermist becomes intrigued by the rarest of bears, the loveable, talking Paddington himself.

Cinderella

The classic fairy tale is brought to life in live action this March thanks to, who else, Disney! We are sure you know the story quite well, the visuals of this version are absolutely stunning. And with a cast featuring Cate Blanchett, Lily James and Helena Bonham Carter (as the Fairy Godmother, no less) this is one fairy tale revamp you and the kids won’t want to miss.

Minions

Everyone’s favourite sidekicks, the Minions, are coming back to the big screen on July 10th, 2015 in their very own feature film. The film starts as all things did, at the beginning of time. We follow the Minions through centuries as they serve the most despicable masters of all time—from T. Rex to Napoleon.

When they find themselves without a master, depression sets in. That is until three Minions venture off in the world to find a truly evil boss for the Minions to follow.

The Peanuts Movie

Just in time for Christmas 2015, The Peanuts Movie is a 3D CGI animated adventure for the whole family! Snoopy—the great flying ace—embarks on his greatest mission yet as he takes to the skies to bring down his arch-nemesis. Meanwhile, Charlie Brown is back home on his own epic adventure.

The Good Dinosaur

Answering the question that countless kids have asked before: what would happen if the dinosaurs had never gone extinct? Coming out on November 25th, 2015 the film focuses on Arlo, a lively 70-foot-tall teenage Apatosaurus and his unlikely companion—a young human boy named Spot!

Shaun The Sheep

From the creators of Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the sheet is a new clay-mation film coming to theatres worldwide in 2015. When Farmer goes missing, Shaun the Sheep and The Flock must head to the big city to find him. And, as any sheep in the city can tell you, they get into some serious misadventures!
