Father’s Day Crafts For Your Special Dad

We found the coolest crafts from around the web to show Dad just how much you care this Father’s Day

Dads. What would we do without them? This Sunday, we will get a chance to show those dads just how much they mean to us. When you have young kids there isn’t a better gift than a homemade craft. (And really, moms, it’s our job to get them that watch or gadget they’ve been wanting!) Take some time this week to help your kids get their crafty on and make some that dad will love!

1.  Personalized Candy Wrappers are a great, easy way to dress up dad’s favourite chocolate bar. With a trimmed piece of construction paper, arm your kids with confetti, sparkles, glue and stickers and let them loose! Write out dad’s name, draw a picture or let your kids’ imaginations come up with a fun design!

2. Add a couple holes and a bit of string and this paper plate Best Dad I Ever Saw craft can become a wearable work of art! What can we say, we here at BabyPost are suckers for a good pun.

3. This Personalized Family Key Holder is too adorable for words. A hook for each family member and a small construction paper person to represent each family member! Dad will never lose track of his keys again!

4. The aptly named ‘Stache Tray is great for every dad, breaded or not! The perfect place to store all dad’s most important items: phone, watch, wallet (stuffed with family pictures of course!). Scotch Tape has a new line of washi tapes that are perfect for decorating ceramic or plastic in a huge variety of colours and patterns!

5. Because who can resist the cuteness of a little sheep, not to mention on that Loves Ewe! Curl some ribbon in your colour of choice to make the sheep’s wool and use popsicle sticks as the background.

6. For the dad with an insatiable sweet tooth, this Reese’s Pieces Love You To Pieces jar with construction paper tie is great. The message is almost as sugary as the candies waiting for dad in the jar.

7. A Collage Planter/Pencil Holder is a great gift for the dad with a desk! Whether he works from home or at the office, make it that much more special by covering it in clippings of all his favourite things and pictures of the family.
