Hatch’s Fall Maternity Line Is Everything

Maternity brand Hatch releases fall collection full of comfy, stylish pieces

When you’re pregnant there are a few things that your clothes must do. They must fit, they must be comfortable and they must make you feel good about yourself. A lot of women struggle to find maternity clothes that are both comfy and stylish. But the search is over: Hatch has created the perfect line for Fall/Winter, featuring both structured and loose silhouettes.

The New York brand has taken what would normally be fitted pieces and gave them just enough baby bump room to make them practical without be frumpy.

And don’t worry, they ship internationally!

The Jackets

Fall and winter mean one thing in Canada: colder temperatures. So, of course, we had to pick our favourite jackets to keep you and baby-to-be warm. We love this textured wool Bomber Jacket for early fall. The roomy fit is great for your growing baby bump and will even look amazing left open once your bump gets bigger. $410

The Montaigne Coat is made of black felted wool and follows the design of a cropped trench. We love the notched lapel collar and can see why Hatch took the coat’s name from the most fashionable promenade in Paris. $410

A classic staple for women everywhere, The Trench Coat is also a returning Hatch classic. The pink lining is the kind of detail that fashion dreams are made of. The marriage of the traditional trench form and the wide neckline with detachable collar, make this a versatile piece for any mom-to-be. $345

The Dresses

Holiday season is fast approaching and a good staple dress for your holiday parties is a definite must-have. Not to mention a few quick and easy pieces you can throw on with some tights and get out the door. The Turtleneck Dress is flattering for all body types and is made of 100% cashmere (sigh). It comes in three colours and features an adorable roll down hem line. $410

The Darling Dress is just that, darling. A hidden zipper at the back ensures that this dress with retain its shape, even while your body is changing. The bell sleeve is elegant, making this dress perfect for a night out but casual enough to still be an everyday look. $315

By far our favourite dress, The Lily Dress has beautiful detailing at the shoulders making the dress both beautiful and unique. The curved hem is beautiful and the loose shape makes it a versatile piece that can follow you through your pregnancy and beyond. $325

Hatch describes The Mercer Dress as their version of the little black dress, and while we love it in charcoal, we couldn’t agree more. Made from a heavy weight ponte fabric, the boxy shape gains some structure with the added bonus of keeping you warm. While the dress may seem “basic”, with the right heels and jewels, you’ll be ready for a night on the town. $250

The Pants

What woman’s wardrobe is complete without a good pair of jean leggings? None, we say! The Denim Legging features a self-covered elasticized waistband to allow for a comfy fit that highlights your shape. The leggings can be dressed up or down, the perfect double-duty wardrobe essential. $170

The Cashmere Jogger pant is great for a comfortable look around the house or while out doing errands. And really, can you think of anything more luxurious than cashmere jogging pants? $250

Meant to be worn under your belly, The Drawstring Pant has a tapered leg with an elastic cuff, making the pants super easy to style. Available in three colours, we love the navy. $230

While this piece may step a bit outside the realm of pants, we can’t get enough of The Longsleeve V-Neck Jumpsuit. The elasticized high waist and back tie-ups create a shape that flatters throughout your pregnancy. It comes in black cupro and denim for an effortlessly chic style. $325

The Shirts

The Henley is a great colder weather staple. Perfect for layering this waffle knit comes in four different colours: ivory, navy, charcoal and oatmeal. The button at the centre of the neckline makes this shirt a flawless mix of classic and comfort. $120

We can’t stop swooning over all the cashmere, and The Ultimate Cardigan is no exception. The long silhouette will flatter your new curves, while allowing you to pull the cardie closed over your belly to keep yourself cozy and warm. $370

The boat neckline on The Voyage Tunic has us dreaming of far off sailing trips on the sea. The fuller body gives you room to grow and we love the wide black and natural stripe. $195

Nothing says Canadian winter quite like a red plaid shirt. The Hudson Shirt comes in many different colours and patterns but this red plaid is our pick for the cold Canadian winter ahead. The collarless button-down front is a great update on a classic piece. $270
